We are delighted to announce that from November 25th to 27th, 2025, we will be donating a portion of our White Edition proceeds to the Surprise association. This gives your purchase added meaning: it not only represents sustainable and conscious fashion – it becomes part of a social movement that empowers people in our society.
Who is Surprise?
The Surprise association has been supporting people in Switzerland affected by poverty or social exclusion since 1998. Its goal: a Switzerland without poverty and exclusion, where participation and diversity are embraced. This is achieved through:
- Opportunities to earn money include selling the street magazine.
- Social city tours led by people with their own experience of poverty or exclusion.
- Projects like street football, street choir, Café Surprise — involving people, strengthening their skills and making them visible.
Why is your support important?
Supporting Surprise is crucial because the organization empowers people affected by poverty and social exclusion. Through its projects, Surprise fosters genuine participation and opens up opportunities that would otherwise be largely inaccessible. Its social city tours and street magazine offer insights into often-overlooked realities, promoting a deeper understanding of what poverty means in Switzerland. At the same time, Surprise operates sustainably: its focus is not on short-term solutions, but on pathways that provide long-term support and enable people to develop their own potential. Surprise's strong local presence in Basel, Zurich, and Bern ensures its impact is immediately tangible – right where it's needed.
What does this mean for the White Edition at Stadtlandkind?
If you place your order with us between November 25th and 27th, 2025 , a portion of the proceeds will automatically go towards supporting Surprise. This way, you're not only contributing to sustainable, high-quality fashion, but also to real social impact in Switzerland.
