This large-format hidden object book takes young and old on an exciting adventure to the dinosaurs and reptiles of prehistoric times.
Every child knows the Tyrannosaurus Rex ? but what about the Archelon, the largest turtle that ever lived on earth, or the Hatzegopteryx, which could fly from island to island with a wingspan of eleven meters? With The Atlas of Dinosaurs by Lucy Letherland, young readers can embark on an exciting journey through the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods and learn about the prehistoric world of dinosaurs.
This large-format hidden object book is a treasure chest for every dinosaur fan: detailed sceneries inform about the life and behavior of the animals, world maps show the locations of their fossils and short texts inform about foraging, clever hunting methods and clever defense techniques.
Lucy Letherland lives and works in London. In 2011, she graduated with honors in illustration from the Manchester School of Art. The Atlas of Dinosaurs is her third children's book. The first two volumes, The Atlas of Adventures (2015) and The Great Atlas of Animals (2017), won many awards and were also published by Kleine Gestalten.
