When packing for holidays with the baby for the first time it became clear to us: Holidays would be different now. After we spent thirty years of our lives just looking out for ourselves, wandering the world aimlessly, often only equipped with a backpack and a little pocket money- everyone should get their money's worth now, but differently than back then. We wanted to enjoy the short holidays we have to the fullest, the price-performance ratio should be right.... And that's how we spent our nights on the Internet, searching and searching...

And because there are so many families out there who feel the same way as we do, we founded mamicheck. ch. mamicheck. ch is the first and only Swiss online platform for holiday planning, on which hotels and accommodations are exclusively recommended by families for families - all entries are authentic, personal and detailed.

More than 150 hotels have already been tested by families and put online, sorted by country and in alphabetical order. The new category "family domiciles with charm" is particularly popular. Here you will not find any children hotels and large all-inclusive facilities, but instead a handpicked collection of small, charming and always family-friendly hotels, design holiday houses, organic farms, alpine villages and much more. They all have one thing in common that is having "that certain something". 

In the section "Travelogues" we regularly discover special tips and highlights for your next trip with children. And currently: we are prepared for winter from head to toe: Sparkling snow, sledging and skiing with the kids. What could be better? In our category "Winter holidays" you will find great, family-friendly winter domiciles, again recommended by mums for mums and tested on site for advantages and disadvantages.
