LouMalou in May

May was full of snacks on LouMalou. And canapés are great. A small snack, a tasty side dish, a splendid aperitif or a superb salad topping. Appetizers can be so versatile. Like spicy, crispy chickpeas roasted in the oven and polenta chips with lots of rosemary. Both are convincing as aperitifs, but also on a plain salad. Sweet potatoes with ricotta and pomegranate salsa taste amazing and look more elaborate than they actually are. And if you need a real, but very healthy and light meal, you should try Bulgur with chard and mushrooms. There is also a lot of input for healthy, simple cuisine in the Food Zurich corner, where all articles relating to the Food Festival can be found. And finally, something for the heart: A beautiful book for children about death. It helps explaining if you can't find the right words yourself.
