100 years of commitment to children's rights ‑ a reason to celebrate

This year, our partner Save the Children celebrates its 100th anniversary and 100 years of tireless commitment to children's rights. On this occasion together with Save the Children we celebrate heroines and heroes for children. For example, all the mothers and fathers who perform heroic deeds for their children every day or all those who support projects for the benefit of children in need.

Swiss Charity Gala: 24 August 2019
We are happy to be part of Save the Children's Swiss Charity Gala for this special year. The gala evening for the benefit of schoolchildren in war and conflict zones will take place on 24 August at the Tonhalle Maag in Zurich. The guests will be taken on an inspiring journey through the history and work of Save the Children and will enjoy a varied supporting programme. More information about the gala and the opportunities to join in the evening will follow soon.

Moderating together with Stéphanie Berger
The Swiss actress, singer and comedian Stéphanie Berger will lead through the evening program and is looking for moderation support. Children between the ages of 12 and 16 can apply with a short mobile phone video at hero@savethechildren.ch The closing date for entries is 31 May 2019. Stéphanie Berger herself will be providing more information on the application in a moment:
