If you've been following us for a while, you've probably noticed that we attach great importance to sustainability and it's not just a marketing issue for us. You have also already received a few tips from us on how to make sustainable shopping easier. Today we will tell you why climate-neutral shipping makes sense and makes it easier for you to shop responsibly.

"Pro Clima" - parcels as sustainable as Stadtlandkind

As is well known, sustainability is one of our six core values. Therefore, the changeover of our shipping department is actually a very logical step. "Pro Clima" from Swiss Post is a great initiative for active and simple climate protection. It will enable us to send all your orders and returns in the new year in a climate-friendly and sustainable way. We pay this compensation in advance to Swiss Post, but you can help us to cover these additional costs. With this voluntary additional contribution, the CO2 emissions of a delivery are compensated or neutralized by planting a tree or investing in alternative and environmentally friendly means of transport.

What is behind it?

Particularly in Switzerland and in the surrounding neighbouring countries, the ecological footprint is often alarmingly large. It is calculated from the annual per capita consumption of resources. However, many of us consume more than the earth can provide and therefore do not behave sustainably at all. It is therefore time for us to take action.

With "Pro Clima" we can compensate for the CO2 emissions caused by our parcels and you can make your ecological footprint smaller again with your voluntary contribution. We are definitely part of it and we take over these costs with every parcel.
