Really fair ‑ the social commitment of Stadtlandkind!

In the New Year, we will continue to inform you about how we live our core values. Find out more about how and where we are committed to more fairness.

This is what we do at Stadtlandkind for more fairness

As you probably know, fairness is one of our six core values. But what are we actually doing for justice and fairness at Stadtlandkind? One of our concerns is the social commitment for the reintegration of people living on the edge of society. To this end, we present various projects and partners from St.Gallen, the region and Switzerland.

An aid project from the Gallus town

In our last December newsletter we promised to donate 10% of all orders on that day directly to the soup kitchen in St.Gallen. With our Christmas campaign we were able to hand over CHF 1'000 to the Gassenküche St.Gallen and thus enable the purchase of a new steamer. Thank you!

"The integration of people with disabilities and social institutions is important to us"

Förderraum St.Gallen

Since 2019, the outstanding team of the Förderraum St.Gallen has been taking on various tasks in the areas of content management, accounting and new image editing and is an indispensable and valuable part of us!

The Quimby Huus in Winkeln

Some of our products not only come from the region, but are also produced by people with physical or mental disabilities. One of our partners is the Quimby Huus in Winkeln, which provides living and working facilities for people with physical disabilities, brain injury or progressive illness. All products are made with love.

The Heimstätten Wil, the Sprungbrett Palettino and the women's prison Dielsdorf

Our Pirates & Ponies children's necklaces and mobile phone chains are made by small teams in the homes in Wil, the Sprungbrett Palettino in Zurich and the women's prison in Dielsdorf.

A global partnership: Stadtlandkind and Save the Children

About one hundred years ago, the now largest independent child rights organisation in the world was founded. Since 2006, there has also been a Swiss branch. Together with kidis.ch we also support Save the Children. In our 2nd Fashion Program we buy back your used clothes and offer you the opportunity to donate the proceeds to Save the Children. Another project was our joint gymbag, from which we donate CHF 5 directly for each purchase. This way we were able to transfer a total of CHF 4'000 in donations in 2019 through various projects.

Conclusion: Together we are strong

And together we can achieve a lot. Thank you for supporting us and thus our commitment to fair cooperation and production.
