Reuse: a different way our cardboard packaging can be used for

With our less waste strategy launched at the end of 2020, we are pursuing the goal of burdening our environment as little as possible with additional packaging material. The reusable Kickbag is already making a significant contribution to helping us take a step in the right direction. However, since we cannot use the Kickbag for all orders, cardboard packaging will continue to be used.

Fortunately, 90% of the paper and cardboard produced in Switzerland comes from the reuse of waste paper. Recycling and waste separation have become a habit for many and we should definitely continue to do so.

But before our cardboard ends up in the recycling, it can be reused in many different ways. There is no limit to creative freedom.

Creative minds

The children's creative magazine KILUDO thought of just that - they were inspired by the Stadtlandkind packaging and reused our cardboard. Here's how:

1. cut out the face parts from the cardboard. You can also cut out different face parts from magazines and newspapers and glue them onto cardboard.
2. attach the parts to wooden skewers or barbecue skewers with adhesive tape.
3. play in front of the mirror, take pictures of yourselves and send them to your loved ones.

For this you only need the following material: cardboard with faces, wooden skewers and adhesive tape. Very simple and super quick to make.

The KILUDO creative magazine has many more creative ideas for children to create, play and learn. If you are looking for more ideas for crafts, you will find many more suggestions in KILUDO's digital magazine.

And because we also want you to get creative and reuse cardboard, we and our partner KILUDO Kreativmagazin are giving away 3x an annual subscription and the Technik-Bastelbox Bürstenroboter and 1x a voucher from Stadtlandkind worth CHF 200.
