Founded in Boston in 1906, the label for orthopaedic insoles developed into a global corporation. No wonder, since New Balance presented its first running shoe in 1938, the company has remained true to its proven philosophy: to produce first-class products, shoes in various widths that offer runners a high level of comfort without restricting their performance. Since 1982 the company has also been producing in England.
We are also particularly impressed by New Balance's social commitment: part of the company's profits goes to the New Balance Foundation, which supports various initiatives for children. In development and production, attention is paid to environmental friendliness, to the recycling of materials and to raising employee awareness.
