The playmat consists of 13 pieces in four delicate shades of grey that can be put together in different ways like puzzle pieces to create different colour combinations and looks. The playmat is decorative and an ideal base for an activity frame, baby gym or for playing in the living room on which baby can lie, play, learn and romp. The playmat provides a cushioned base which ensures that the child is provided with a soft and comfortable surface while protecting the child from the cold wooden floor or hard tiles. The mat can be easily wiped clean - this is handy if the baby drools or throws up. In flats with tiled floors, the soft but at the same time firm underlay is helpful when the child is learning to crawl. When the child grows, the mat can also function as a giant puzzle or as a base in a cave, for example under a canopy that hangs from the ceiling. The product is a Danish design and is made of foamed ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). EVA is a safe alternative to PVC. The product is free of phthalates and formamide and is a safe surface for children to play on.
