The incense resin myrrh is the pure resin of the myrrh tree with a brown-glossy colour, which often varies between honey-coloured to deep brown. An incense with myrrh works very well against a hectic mind. It unfolds its calming effect particularly well in an evening incense, as it shuts off the carousel of thoughts. Together with black copal, lavender or Swiss stone pine resin, myrrh prepares wonderfully for a restful sleep.
Furthermore, when smoked, it raises inner strength and reconciles one with one's own path in life. Therefore, it is also suitable for bitter, unpleasant life situations, whether current or past. As it is the counterpart to frankincense, which stands for the masculine principle. Myrrh strengthens the feminine aspects.

Effect when smoked:

- Grounding, calming, brings deep relaxation
- Decelerates, dissolves the hectic of the day
- Gets you out of your head and into your body

Application: Depending on the desired intensity, place between 1/2 teaspoon and 1 teaspoon of the myrrh on the incense burner and adjust the height or on the charcoal. Break the resin pieces into smaller pieces if needed.
Combines well with other incense to make a blend.
