Kinderprogramm an den Winterthurer Musikfestwochen!

Children's program at the Winterthur Music Festival!

With Madrugada (NOR), AnnenMayKantereit (DE) and Mighty Oaks (ITA/UK/US), three bands with whom the festival shares very special memories are returning to the Winterthur Music Festival in 2019. Together with Alice Phoebe Lou (ZAF), Nothing But Thieves (UK), Emilie Zoé (CH) and countless international and local acts, they make up the lovingly compiled program.

The 44th Winterthur Music Festival Weeks attracts visitors with over 70 acts on 4 stages, 9 out of 12 days are free of charge. This is unique in Switzerland. This year's festival also has a varied program for our younger guests. The lower Steinberggasse and the church square will once again be transformed into an adventure playground, offering children fun and games. Whether it's arts and crafts, painting, juggling or balancing, singing and dancing - the children are sure to return home with great memories of an eventful day!

The Musikfestwochen is one of the oldest pop-rock festivals in Europe. Over 50,000 music lovers from Winterthur, the whole of Switzerland and neighboring countries make a pilgrimage to Winterthur's old town every year.

The highlights of the children's program:

On the Family afternoons on August 11 and 14 (2 - 5 p.m.) there are exciting experiments with water, throwing games, circus animation and obstacle courses, face painting and much more.

On Wednesday, August 14 at 2.15 pm, Laurent and Max will put a smile on the faces of young and old with their clever dialect works. At 4.30 pm, Marius and the Jagdkapelle will take over the Steinberggass stage and get the children singing and dancing.

And as the official main sponsor and partner of the family program, we are giving away two exclusive VIP family packages for Wednesday, 14.8.

Program 14.8.2019

14.15 to 15.15: Laurent and Max (CH) - Kirchplatz

While the duo with Id Badi gah the duo has already landed a small summer hit, songs such as Dä Ronaldo (The Rolling Stones) or Gaagälä (Lady Gaga) catchy tunes from days gone by.

16.30 to 17.30: Marius and the Jagdkapelle (CH) - Steinberggasse
Singer/song hunter Marius and his buddies squat in the woods in front of their forest hut and produce beautifully weird hunter dialect rock. Normally. In special cases, Marius & die Jagdkapelle organize big-city racket in the heart of Winterthur's old town.
