New collaboration with the children's region
Children's region is a joint platform of Zürich Tourism, Rapperswil Zürichsee Tourism, House of Winterthur, Schwyz Tourism, Visit Glarnerland and TourismusRegion Baden. The aim of the association is to promote sustainable family tourism and the joint communication of family offers in the Zurich tourism and living area.
Zurich, Rapperswil, Winterthur, Schwyz, Glarus and Baden boast a huge range of excursion destinations. Where else are cities, forests, lakes and mountains so close together? Puzzle trails and interactive museums are located next to zoos and adventure farms. It's just a stone's throw from the city park to the wilderness park and a boat ride to the knight's castle. In summer, numerous swimming pools beckon, while in winter the snow-covered slopes call. When the sun is shining, children can let off steam in the playgrounds, while in rainy weather the region's play and sports halls invite them to go climbing, skipping or biking. Children are also more than welcome in the theater and at concerts, in restaurants and hotels.

On the move with the Swiss Southeast Railway Family Pass
With the Family Pass from Schweizerische Südostbahn, it's full speed ahead for leisure fun in the Kinderregion. From CHF 65 (2nd class, half-fare), the whole family can enjoy exciting experiences on the Voralpen-Express line between St. Gallen and Lucerne, the Aare Linth line between Zurich main station and Chur and the Südostbahn commuter trains.
