Attention horse fans! Soon St.Gallen will once again be all about equestrian sport. From May 30 to June 2, 2024, the Longines CSIO St.Gallen will take place at Gründenmoos and on the Wednesday before the popular children's afternoon for families. This year for the first time with a Hobby Horsing course. As a long-standing partner, Stadtlandkind will of course be there again with great prizes.
Especially for families and children, the CSIO in Gründenmoos is a great day out with plenty to do and discover. In addition to the children's afternoon, there are many other activities such as pony rides, hobby horsing, a bouncy castle and a skills course. The mascot Galoppi is also always there and provides lots of fun for young and old. In addition, artists and musicians provide the best entertainment between the competitions.
Hobby horsing course for the first time
The trend sport of hobby horsing - a combination of athletics and riding - has also arrived in Switzerland and is becoming increasingly popular. Hobby horsing involves using a hobby horse to imitate elements of equestrian sport, such as dressage or show jumping. For the first time, a hobby horse course will also be held at the CSIO - equipped with, among other things hobby horses and obstacles from Stadtlandkind.

With exciting demonstrations of all kinds and cute foals, the "Breitfeld" children's paradise will amaze young and old alike. Indulge in culinary delights at the food stands throughout the CSIO grounds and enjoy the unique atmosphere. In addition, the various sales stands with many beautiful articles on the subject of horses and lifestyle invite you to linger.
Registration and tickets
This year's CSIO Children's Afternoon will take place on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm. Registration takes place via the online form. Participation is free of charge.

The Longines CSIO St. Gallen is the largest show jumping event in Switzerland and attracts around 35,000 visitors every year.
