You have also already received one or two tips from us on how to sustainable shopping easier. Today we'll tell you why climate-neutral shipping makes sense and makes it easier for you to shop responsibly.
"Pro Clima" - parcels as sustainable as Stadtlandkind
Sustainability is known to be one of our six core values. So the conversion of our shipping is actually a very logical step. Swiss Post's "Pro Clima" is a great initiative for active and simple climate protection. This makes it possible for us to send all your orders and returns in the new year in a climate-friendly and sustainable way. We pay this compensation in advance to Swiss Post, but you can help us to cover these additional costs. With this voluntary additional contribution, the CO2 emissions of a delivery are offset or neutralized by planting a tree or investing in alternative and environmentally friendly means of transport.
What's behind it?
In Switzerland and neighboring countries in particular, the ecological footprint is often alarmingly large. It is calculated on the basis of the resources consumed per capita each year. However, many of us consume more than the earth can provide and are therefore not behaving sustainably. So it's time we did something about it.
With "Pro Clima", we can offset the CO2 emissions caused by our parcels and you can make your ecological footprint smaller again with your voluntary contribution. We are definitely on board and will cover these costs for every parcel.
