When international show jumping stars compete in Gründenmoos at the beginning of June, the Longines CSIO St. Gallen once again transforms into a meeting point for the whole family. From June 4th to 7th, 2026, visitors can expect not only high-class equestrian sport but also a comprehensive entertainment program for children and families.
There's particularly much to discover around the adventure park: a Western Ranch as the new centerpiece, pony rides, a bouncy castle, football challenges, face painting, music, and many other hands-on activities ensure hours of fun in the green. Of course, the popular CSIO mascot Galoppi will also be there, supported by Gallus, Sämi, and Moritz on the children's afternoon.
CSIO Children's Afternoon
The family program already begins on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, with the traditional CSIO Children's Afternoon. From 2:00 PM to approximately 4:30 PM, a colorful program full of entertainment, animals, and exciting demonstrations awaits the little guests – free of charge and specially designed for families. As a long-standing partner, Stadtlandkind will once again be present with great prizes.
The program includes:
- a humorous comedy balloon show with Otto il Bassotto
- impressive demonstrations from the world of Western riding by Stallniderorn
- the "Working Trail" demonstration by the SOSWI St. Gallen support association
- the cheerful dog & pony show "Wuff & Wiiiieh!" by Zellersmüli & joydogs.ch
- spectacular walking acts, acrobatics, and fire shows by the AnimationArt Ensemble
- numerous play and adventure stations in the large adventure park
