Gemeinsam einstehen für Kinder im Krieg

Standing up together for children at war

Since October 7, 2023, more than 30,000 people have lost their lives in the Gaza Strip, including over 12,400 children. In addition to the ongoing and dramatic food situation, the psychological consequences for those affected are becoming increasingly precarious after four months of war. Nevertheless, an end to the conflict is still not in sight.

In armed conflicts, minors are always the ones who suffer the most. One in five children worldwide (over 450 million in total) is growing up in a war zone today. This is precisely why we have been working with the organization Save the Children whose teams and partners work around the clock to provide families affected by war with vital aid supplies and psychological and medical first aid.

"No child is immune to the horror and devastation of conflict. Though they may not understand what's happening, they see and hear everything."

Jason Lee

Country Director of Save the Children
for the Occupied Palestinian Territories

For example, Save the Children also provides assistance to people who have been evacuated from the Gaza Strip for medical care and to families in the West Bank who are suffering from the escalating violence.

But without support, this global humanitarian mission would not be possible. Every contribution counts and is used specifically where help is most urgently needed. That's why you too can stand up for children at war and donate directly here.
