If you're at the lake or river at the moment, you can't miss something: Women - especially young women - are once again wearing more fabric for a dip in the water. While the skimpy triangle bikini set the tone at the turn of the millennium, as it was practical for sunbathing, sporty swimsuits and high-cut bikini bottoms are celebrating a revival. The one-piece swimsuit, long reserved for older women and sportswomen, is now a fashionable item thanks to vibrant color combinations and creative cuts. For example, a swimsuit with a low back décolleté is combined with sports slippers and trainers in line with the athleisure trend. In order to properly showcase the fashion trend towards "more is more", we asked eleven synchronized swimmers from the traditional Zurich club Limmat-Nixen to present the latest models.
