At the 22nd Zurich Film Festival, from September 24 to October 4, 2026, it's not just adults who will get their money's worth – young cinema fans can also look forward to exciting film adventures! The ZFF for Kids program invites you to cheer, laugh, and marvel: from clever detective stories to surprising friendships and wonderful adaptations of your favorite books, there's something for every child.
During the Zurich Film Festival, a variety of workshops can be attended. Whether it's acting, animation, green screen, musical, game design, or make-up & hairstyles: here you can try things out, create, and ignite a passion for film.
As a highlight, the ZFF Family Day will take place for the first time this year on September 27. From 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a day full of films, creativity, and shared experiences for the whole family awaits you at the Festival Centre on Sechseläutenplatz. Admission to the program at the Festival Centre is free.
