As a fourth-generation family business with almost 100 years of experience, we place our trust in our craftsmanship, high quality and sustainable production. Our own production facility is located in rural Hunsrück, where many employees have been working with us for a long time. All work processes, such as manufacturing, tailoring, designing and patterning, are carried out in close cooperation with our employees. Together in our knitting mill, we create precisely tailored, high-quality and sustainable handmade products. We only use materials that are produced in Western Europe, are certified and come from controlled organic animal husbandry. We guarantee you yarn that is free from pesticides, synthetic dyes and other harmful substances. An aspect that is very important to us - especially for our very young customers! As a family, we feel a generational bond locally, which is reflected in our company. Together we live tradition; authentic, ecological & fair.

Halfen stands for lovingly crafted children's fashion made from wool that combines warmth, comfort and craftsmanship. For generations, Halfen has been knitting, fulling and producing with care - in a family business where responsibility towards people, animals and the environment is part of everyday life. The clothing is made in Germany and is based on natural materials such as pure new wool from controlled organic animal husbandry.


Wool that grows and protects
Halfen's jackets, overalls and booties are designed to grow with little explorers. Reinforced knee and seat sections make them robust for nurseries, forest days and playground adventures. At the same time, they remain soft, breathable and temperature-regulating - ideal for all year round. The walking clothes protect against wind and weather without overheating and can be easily aired or spot-cleaned.
