Baby jackets & coats – cosy & weatherproof

Babies need warmth and protection when they are outdoors. A good jacket shields the wind, regulates body temperature and feels soft. Depending on the season there are transition jackets, winter coats and rainwear that reliably protect your child.

The layering system for comfort and warmth

To keep your baby from freezing or sweating, the layering system is ideal: a breathable base layer wicks away moisture, a warm mid layer insulates, and a weatherproof outer layer shields against wind and rain. Natural fibres like wool are especially suitable because they absorb moisture and insulate even when wet. Make sure the jacket has enough room for several layers.

Sustainable materials & safety

Our jackets are made of organic cotton, recycled polyester and wool. Organic cotton is grown without toxic pesticides and is gentle on the skin. Wool is breathable, temperature-regulating and durable. We avoid PFAS-coated fabrics and instead use eco-friendly water-repellents. Reflective details improve visibility, and soft-lined hoods protect ears and head.

Combinations & style

Jackets can be beautifully layered with a hoodie as a midlayer, comfortable pants and cosy rain jackets. For changeable weather, transitional jackets and vests are light yet warm. Colourful patterns and loving details like wooden buttons or soft cuffs make the jackets real favourites.

Care & durability

To keep jackets looking good for a long time, wash them only when necessary and use a gentle detergent. Wool jackets should be hand washed or cleaned on a wool cycle. After washing, let the garments air dry so the fibres remain supple. High-quality jackets are robust and can be passed down to younger siblings. This way your purchase accompanies you through several seasons and brings joy again and again.
