Marius & the hunting band

Marius & die Jagdkapelle - children's songs with heart and humor

The unique story of Marius & die Jagdkapelle began in the Thurgau forest. Marius Tschirky founded the band with a great deal of humor, playfulness and a deep respect for real music. The band is neither mainstream nor conventional children's entertainment. Instead, he produces songs that inspire children and adults alike with their rhythmic groove, pointed lyrics and genuine band line-up. In a recent interview with Ajour, Marius explains: "We don't do Ballermann for children", demonstrating how humor, quality and authenticity are in harmony.

Fun sounds instead of uniformity
The Jagdkapelle's music is created on stage: week after week, Marius travels to the city with his instruments - from the hunter's lodge straight to small concerts full of energy. Songs such as "Felltuschgnusch" and Radio Waldrand combine catchy melodies with stories about nature, adventure and everyday life. For families, this means singing along, dancing and experiencing real music-making - away from pre-chewed playlists.
