PlanToys are made from pure, natural rubber wood from trees from which latex can no longer be extracted due to their age. To keep the wood pure, no fertilizer is added to the soil during the last three years before felling. To strengthen the wood, it is subjected to a special, chemical-free drying process in drying chambers.
PlanToys uses its own formaldehyde-free glue, which is produced without emitting CO2, and non-toxic water-based paints to assemble the toys. The manufacturing processes are designed to reduce waste and save energy. PlanToys reuses materials and has introduced innovative methods for recycling paper and other products.
