How it all began
Over 10 years ago in 2009, Terese Hoffeldt from Denmark founded the label HEVEAafter she had searched in vain for pacifiers for her baby that met her requirements. A soother made from natural rubber without dangerous softeners and toxins, with a simple, appealing design and produced fairly - the idea was born.
The sustainable products from HEVEA are made from 100% natural rubber from sustainable agriculture and are therefore biodegradable. Natural rubber is extracted from the Hevea brasiliensis rubber tree and then carefully processed. This is not only due to the excellent quality of the HEVEA products, but also the fair production. HEVEA pursues strict social and ethical production conditions that take care of people and the environment. The transportation of goods by air is also avoided as far as possible. Therefore, transportation is mainly carried out by sea.
Natural rubber - An idea inspires the world!
HEVEA ensures that soothers and teethers in particular, which go directly into the mouth, become a safe object that children can use every day without any worries. In addition to pacifiers and teethers, HEVEA also produces other items made from 100% natural rubber and wood from the rubber tree.
Products that meet the high standards of the company's founder and also impress with their environmentally friendly packaging (FSC standard - recycled paper and film made from plant materials) and sustainable production - it is HEVEA's concept that prompts many customers to buy these products made from natural materials such as natural rubber for their child.

The extraction of latex from the Hevea brasiliensis trees is an attractive way of cultivating the land. HEVEA has its natural rubber products mainly produced locally in Malaysia. Rubber trees can be harvested sustainably for about 35 years. During this time, they absorb approx. 20 kg of CO2 from the air. In this way, HEVEA makes a contribution to the fight against global warming.
