"Neverending Summer" by Bobo Choses

"Neverending Summer" is the name of the new collection from Bobo Choses. It was inspired by the impressive ethologist, primatologist and anthropologist Jane Goodhall.

As a child, Jane Goodall was given a chimpanzee cuddly toy, which she called Jubilee. Her love for this cuddly toy was the beginning of her love for animals.
At the age of four, the curious Jane asked herself: "Where do eggs come from?". She would sneak into the hen house and hide all day until she could watch the miracle of the "birth of an egg". She grew up and her curiosity took her first to Kenya, and later to Gombe, Africa, where she spent her life observing chimpanzees and learning about their behavior. Although Goodall had not studied before and therefore did not have the minimum required bachelor's degree, in recognition of her exceptionally productive behavioral observations and a very rarely granted exemption, she was allowed to enroll at the University of Cambridge for a doctorate in ethology, which she successfully completed in 1965.
She later dedicated herself to educating the general public to better protect chimpanzee habitats. She began working with governments to develop ecologically sound tourism in Africa.
In 1990, she published her work "Through a Window", in which she argued that the growing knowledge about the mental and social complexity of animals must lead to finding an ethically responsible way of dealing with them. This applies equally to the keeping of animals as pets, for entertainment, for meat production or in experimental laboratories, as well as to other ways of dealing with them.

In 1991, Goodall founded the Roots & Shoots campaign with children in Tanzania, in which children and young people in particular can develop their own ideas and small projects in the field of nature and environmental protection in order to contribute to the improvement of both human and animal life on earth.

Bobo Chose's Neverending Summer collection is inspired by Goodall's life and the endless curiosity of children who love to ask questions.

The sustainability of the collection is taken further as Bobo Choses is part of ECAP (European Clothing Action Plan), a project that focuses specifically on the clothing supply chain to reduce waste and achieve effective waste recycling. Bobo Choses are also working with Made by, the label for sustainably produced fashion, towards the common goals of reducing pollution. Bobo Choses latest collection is also 60% organic cotton and 100% made in local Spanish factories.
