Buying products from your own country and supporting local and domestic businesses, labels and the people behind them has never been more relevant. It has always been important to us Stadtlandkind to give small labels and young designers a platform.
Because good things are so close
A lot of know-how and passion goes into these labels, which we would like to introduce to you here: Whether traditional or modern, for indoors or outdoors, to wear or to play with, we have the right item with the right origin.
Dreifeder - robust and sustainable jeans
The makers behind the Swiss start-up Dreifeder have made it their goal to bring sustainable and durable children's jeans to the market. Cordura® is a special nylon fiber that is many times more resistant to abrasion and tearing and combines the advantages of natural and synthetic fibers. The processing of this innovation makes their children's pants 10 times more robust than conventional jeans. Best of all, the synthetic fibers woven into the denim fabric balance out the temperature in both hot and cold conditions and keep the wearer dry at all times. This is ensured by a mixture of structured fibers, which dissipate heat and moisture, and fibers with a hollow core, which insulate heat. That's what we call innovation!
Helvetiq - a modern Swiss original
In preparation for his naturalization test in 2008, Hadi Barkat played the first game of Helvetiq game in 2008. With many other funny and educational games and books, the brand has established itself in recent years and is therefore an integral part of our store. Clever and inspiring ideas for play and business for the whole family.
Trauffer - traditional wooden toys
For generations they have had a firm place in Swiss children's rooms - the traditional wooden figures from the company Trauffer. For over 80 years, these durable toys have been made in the family business from 100% FSC-certified wood from local forests.
