ferm LIVING - Scandinavian design for children's worlds

ferm LIVING was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by Trine Andersen, originally out of the need to find the "perfect wallpaper" for the new home. This desire gave rise to her own collection - since then, the company has grown steadily and today stands for modern Scandinavian furnishings worldwide, including children's rooms. You can find out more about the founder and her design philosophy in this interview.

Creative living spaces for children with style
The ferm LIVING Kids line creates a harmonious balance of functionality and Scandinavian aesthetics. Furniture such as 'Little Architect' tables and chairs as well as decorative rattan accessories encourage creative play and at the same time fit perfectly into any modern room. Bright cushions, rugs and wall decorations with animal or nature motifs transform children's rooms into play worlds where children feel at home and adults enjoy spending time.

Values that impress
ferm LIVING works with natural materials, recycled paper, hand-woven rattan and certified wood. The In House design team attaches great importance to balance - between intuition and function - and develops pieces that provide space for personal stories. This combination of quality, sustainability and Scandinavian style fits perfectly with our attitude at Stadtlandkind.

Educational benefits for school and nursery
The ferm LIVING Kids collection is ideal for school and nursery rooms: child-sized furniture encourages independence and concentration, while rugs, cushions and wall decorations make the environment cozy and stimulating. The designs are ideal for free forms of learning, creative niches and structured retreat areas.
