Maileg - loving fantasy worlds from Denmark

Maileg was founded in Denmark in 1999 by Dorthe and Erik Mailil. Dorthe, trained as a graphic designer in Copenhagen and Marseille, developed the first "Pixie" figure made of clay during a study project, which later led to the characteristic Maileg mice. The name combines "Mailil" with the Danish word "leg" for play - matching the brand's signature: detailed, nostalgic and Scandinavian light.
