Mr. Maria

Mr Maria - cheerful moments of light from Amsterdam

Mr Maria was founded in Amsterdam in 2006 by Jannes Hak and Lennart Bosker. In their studio, they develop luminous objects for children's rooms that make the inner child smile. Their best-known product is probably the Miffy lamp, inspired by Dick Bruna's classic children's book character.

Magical lights that inspire
Mr Maria designs friendly LED lamps in the shape of childlike characters - from Miffy and clouds to smiley faces and dinosaurs. Each lamp is made of recyclable polyethylene, is dimmable and does not require any warm light at all. They brighten up the children's room, provide a calming night light and stimulate imagination and security. Its modern yet playful design blends harmoniously into Scandinavian-style rooms or creative play environments.

Design meets energy efficiency
At Stadtlandkind, we love both the aesthetic clarity and the well thought-out concept of Mr Maria: durable materials, sustainable production and child-friendly lighting technology make the lamps a stylish companion. The dimmable LEDs provide warm light with low energy consumption - perfect for quiet evening hours or creative play in the dark.

Educationally valuable and atmospheric
In nurseries or schools, the lamps from Mr Maria create cozy zones for quiet periods or story time. They are visual anchors and provide atmospheric light that promotes concentration and at the same time contributes to well-being.
