The Wobbel has its origins in Waldorf schools. With the Wobbelboard, Stadtlandkind presents this classic balance board in a modern design and contemporary editions. In a playful way, but very efficiently, it supports body awareness and balance. When used as a training device, certain muscle groups can be isolated, while other exercises train large muscle groups. Wobbel was developed in 2015 by Hannelore Blaauw and Wouter Haine in the Netherlands and is inspired by classic Waldorf balance boards. In this informative interview the founders explain how a playful idea to promote motor development developed into a versatile everyday companion.
