A picture book about a guilty conscience and apologies

When Anton wants to play with Jette's great new fire engine in kindergarten, something really bad happens: the toy breaks. Oh dear! Jette is totally sad. Now Anton can't possibly tell her that it's his fault. What would Jette think of him otherwise!

A voice in Anton's head tells him that he should apologize to Jette. Anton already knows this voice because he always hears it when something isn't going so well - for example, when he scares someone, forgets something or breaks something. And this voice is really annoying. Because it just won't go away!

The voice inside Anton is his conscience. And it actually just wants to help Anton make amends. After every attempt to get rid of the voice has failed, Anton listens properly for once. Because his conscience doesn't leave him alone, it encourages him. So Anton manages to apologize to Jette. And that feels really good!
