LUGO Bed

The new LUGO is the worthy successor to the MUKA bed, Charlie Crane’s first convertible bed, which made a lasting impression with its 15-degree slanted slats. It retains the slightly rounded shape and the original dimensions: The 70 x 90 cm crib can be expanded to 70 x 140 cm. It can also still be converted into a chaise longue. The biggest innovation of the LUGO bed, however, is its lightness, made possible by the slender slats attached to the outside of the frame. This design gives the bed an airy, almost floating appearance. The LUGO bed is made of solid European beech wood, is free of chemicals, and is finished with a light, matte, water-based varnish.
