Book: *Seek You*—A Journey into Solitude (German)

*Seek You*—A Journey into Solitude by Helvetiq is a compelling graphic novel about a feeling that many people know but rarely talk about. The story begins with a man who uses his amateur radio to send messages out into the world: CQ, seek you—I’m looking for you. American illustrator Kristen Radtke explores loneliness from personal, societal, and scientific perspectives. She asks what connects us, what separates us, and what role technology, gender, violence, art, media, and social expectations play in all of this. From canned laughter in sitcoms to Instagram to psychological experiments, this book shows just how deeply the need for connection is rooted within us. With clear, touching illustrations and empathetic text, the result is a unique blend of nonfiction and graphic novel about vulnerability, connection, and the silent weight of loneliness.
