The House with the Little Red Door

Olivia lives in the house with the little red door. It’s quiet there—sometimes even a little lonely. Way at the back of the garden, the mouse lives in an old tree, and she wants nothing more than someone to talk to. But one day, the tree crashes down during a snowstorm. The mouse is left without a home, and Olivia immediately sets out to find a new place for her little neighbor.

A teapot, perhaps? Or a cuckoo clock? But none of these feel quite right for the mouse. It’s only when Olivia offers her a spot in her big house that a sense of warmth, security, and a real home begins to take shape.

A tender, heartwarming story for children ages four and up about friendship, kindness, and the joy of having someone by your side.
