PRODUCT INFORMATION

Product description

In the neighborhood, the houses glow in every color for Christmas, Diwali, or Hanukkah. Only one house remains dark, longing to shine on its own someday. When Huda and her family move in, it finds new hope. It discovers that every family has its own celebrations and that diversity is a wonderful thing.

With Huda’s arrival, the house learns what Eid al-Fitr means—the festival marking the end of Ramadan, also known as the Sugar Festival. It witnesses how the family prepares, how joy and a sense of community grow, and what a celebration can look like that no one in the neighborhood has ever celebrated before. And finally, the moment has arrived: The house gets to shine in all its glory and shows that belonging can take many forms.
