Made from certified wood and awarded the EU Ecolabel, the bed offers an ergonomically advantageous position for you in the highest slatted frame setting when you put your newborn baby into bed or take them out. As soon as your child starts to turn or sit up, the slatted frame should be lowered to the lowest position. In combination with the prominent slatted sides, this ensures a safe sleeping environment in the first few years of life. When your child is old enough to climb out of bed independently, the sides can be removed. The bed can then be extended to a length of 157.75 cm (external dimensions) and therefore offers sufficient space up to the age of around 6 to 7 years. No additional parts are required to extend the bed. If you opt for the original Sebra mattress, an extension piece is already included in the scope of delivery, which can be used when the bed is extended. Das Sebra bed offers a long-lasting solution that can be used or passed on for generations. In this way, you help to conserve valuable resources and avoid new purchases in the future.
