Påhoj is a clever child bike seat that magically transforms into a lightweight buggy when removed from the bike.

Many parents know the situation: you would like to take your child on a trip to the park or forest, but it's too far to walk. A good way to get there quickly would be to go by bike. If only there wasn't the problem that the child gets tired at some point and wants to be carried. The perfect solution to this problem comes from Sweden, from a company founded by mother and industrial designer Lycke von Schantz. Even as a little girl, Lycke particularly enjoyed bike rides with her mother. In the future, this shaped her desire to cover all routes in the city by bike and so she was inseparable from her bike for many years. But when Lycke had a child, she quickly realized that cycling with a child is not always possible and sometimes even quite inconvenient. The idea of combining walking and cycling with her child came about as a master's thesis during her studies at the School of Industrial Design in Lund. And so Påhoj was born - a buggy that can be attached to the bike as a bicycle seat in a flash and takes the kids safely and comfortably to every corner of the city. And a bike seat that can be quickly and easily removed from the bike and rolled straight on as a buggy. Simply unfold the wheels, pull out the handle and off you go! Always using the bike and letting the child ride along is an excellent way to manifest good habits from childhood into adulthood. As the Swedes say: "Children do what you do and not what you tell them to do". Show your child how important the environment is for our future by giving them and yourself the freedom to experience urban adventures together.
