Ostheimer Male elephant

Designed to appear alert and leaning slightly forward, this young polar bear with a long neck, crafted from wood by Ostheimer, evokes the vastness of the polar landscape. The slightly longer neck gives the figure a curious look, as if the polar bear were exploring its surroundings. Children can incorporate the small, long-necked wooden polar bear by Ostheimer into stories about ice, snow, and life in the Far North, or let it play a role as part of an animal family. The minimalist design encourages free, imaginative play and leaves room for children’s own interpretations. The figure fits comfortably in small hands and is also suitable for educational settings where habitats, climate zones, and animal relationships are explored. Crafted from sustainable natural wood and carefully handcrafted, the polar bear stands for durability, quality, and the mindful use of resources.
