Little People, Big Dreams: Amanda Gorman, María Isabel Sánchez Vegara

Even as a little girl, Amanda devoured everything she could find—books, packaging, cornflakes advertisements. Because of a speech impediment, she preferred to write down her thoughts, and she knew from an early age that she wanted to be a poet.
