Peace (NordSued)

Peace begins with very small, everyday acts: A hello, a smile, a hug can bring peace. Looking at each other and pronouncing a friend's name correctly - it can be that simple to find peace. Peace takes courage, but it also gives security. Thanks to peace, even the little ones can have their say. Peace starts small, but it can have a big impact. With "Peace", Miranda and Baptiste Paul have written their first joint picture book for NordSüd. This hymn to peace is very personal to them. Estelí Meza based her illustrations on the warm colors of Mexico. She illustrated the story during the lockdown in Mexico City and was inspired by the story's positive messages. "Peace" (together with another picture book not published by NordSüd) is her debut in the USA and Europe.
