Wooby Chair

The Wooby Chair is more than just a children's chair—it combines seating comfort with playful encouragement of movement. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, it can be easily flipped over to become a rocking stool that inspires children to engage in active play and balance exercises. This 2-in-1 function makes the Wooby Chair a clever and versatile companion for everyday life.

When combined with stacking blocks (not the Minis) and the Wooby boards, the Wooby Chair—which doubles as a play and seating stool—becomes the ideal element for creative obstacle courses and movement play areas. It fits perfectly into educational settings that prioritize free, creative play and motor skill development.

Made in the woodshop at the Wydehöfli residential home in Arlesheim, Baselland, every order you place supports meaningful employment for people with disabilities. The handcrafted finish makes each piece one-of-a-kind, with its own unique wood grain.

The Wooby Chair is durable and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use—a versatile and educationally valuable piece of furniture and play module.

Important: The wooby Chair is compatible with all Stapelstein . The package includes only the chair legs, without Stapelstein. Stacking blocks can be purchased separately.
