Class Set: Ant

The classroom set includes two insect houses, as well as the complete “Ant Adventure” teaching kit.

Use of the Teaching Material: Kindergarten through 2nd Grade
The teaching material is designed for Cycle 1 and is ready for immediate use in kindergarten, first, or second grade. Thanks to the level-differentiated discovery workbooks, the teaching kit is ideal for heterogeneous classes or mixed-age learning in first and second grade. A separate version is available for kindergarten: a scavenger hunt with 18 tasks.

Observing Crawling Creatures Live in the Classroom
The “Insect House” is an integral part of the teaching resource. It allows students to bring the ants into the classroom to observe them at their own pace and record their observations. Proper handling of the animals is of great importance and is addressed in the teaching materials through clear rules of conduct.
