The caterpillar kit (29 x 20 x 19 cm) can be easily assembled in just a few simple steps—now all you have to do is go out and find some caterpillars. Included are detailed instructions for raising, caring for, feeding, and observing the developmental stages, as well as a richly illustrated search poster with additional information and space to record your own observations.

The caterpillar box is made in Switzerland from wood and plexiglass by people with disabilities. The caterpillars are kept in a species-appropriate environment. The set is ideal for observation at home or at school—a delight for young and old alike!
