Ladybug house

How many legs do insects have? What kinds of beetles crawl through our garden? Are spiders insects, too? Young researchers can explore these and many other questions at home or at preschool, daycare, or school, where observing animals is firmly established as a learning objective in the curriculum (NMG, Cycles 1+2: Several teaching materials for this product are available for download online).

The insect house not only allows children to observe small crawling creatures, but is also ideal for raising ladybugs—that is, for observing the metamorphosis from larva to native ladybug.

The insect house is made in Switzerland from wood and Plexiglas by people with disabilities. The product is perfect for observation at home or at school—a delight for young and old alike!
