CD Hischschnauzdisgo Marius & die Jagdkapelle

Most of the time, singer-songwriter Marius and his buddies from the Jagdkapelle hang out in their hunting lodge, clutching their guitars, banjos, piano, accordion, drums, and bass, and coming up with irresistible catchy tunes based on zany stories. Now that they’re finally old enough, they get to go to the Hirschschnauzdisgo, where they’re set to be the live band this year. So they’ve composed some extra mischievous and “cool” disco songs that will delight not only the little ones but also the grown-ups with their playful spirit. Even the first song, “Kaktus,” is a double-entendre hunting song—as down-to-earth as ever, yet thoroughly disco. Kaktus the hedgehog is a feared dancer because his spines prick the other animals, and he gets so caught up in dancing that he forgets he “needs to go to the bathroom.” Kids know how that goes. Too late! That’s why everyone at the Hirschschnauzdisgo shouts: “Kaktus… go take a dump!”
