Kaleio No. 4: The Tumbler

"GETTING BACK UP" is the theme of this issue. After all, life is made up of many individual steps: small, wobbly, big, tentative, strides, and bold steps. And sometimes—boom—you fall flat on your face! Failure is part of the learning process. The most important thing is not to let it discourage you. Don’t think you’re bad or worthless because of it; don’t feel ashamed or hide—instead, get back on your feet and keep going—step by step! Just like the skater Carlotta, who accepts falls as part of learning new tricks. Or like Viola, who has been in a wheelchair since childhood and absolutely loves playing sports. Or like the comic book heroine Kira, who travels through time and meets the courageous Katharina von Wattenwyl.
