Kaleio No. 1: My Vote

Ever since you let out your first cry after you were born, you’ve had a voice. It’s a sign that you’re alive, that you feel, that you have needs, and that you matter. In this issue, you’ll meet Nora, who is determined to ensure that children around the world can speak their minds. While flipping a coin, you’ll meet Julie, who fought for women’s rights in Switzerland over 100 years ago. You’ll learn why Nadja has never stopped yodeling. You’ll discover how voices can be made visible through pictures and musical notes—and that there are many ways to “explode.” Listen to your voice. If you let it rise up, you’ll realize just how powerful it can be.
