Kaleio No. 5: My Room

This issue is an invitation: Eight girls welcome you into their rooms! Then Florentina invites you into her tiny little house, and Maria explains just how clever her smart home is. You’ll accompany Tilo Frey on her journey to the Swiss Parliament—she was one of the first women and the first Black person to serve in the Federal Assembly. A few animals invite you over, too: the marmot, the beaver, and even a family of earthworms. Alma, a girl from a country where there is no peace, would also like to get to know you. And in “Wortreich,” we’ll show you the most beautiful word in the world. Come on in and make yourself comfortable—this is your space!

Also: What happens in your body when your breasts grow? What do you do when someone threatens to cross your boundaries? How does Rosalie, the kung fu student, claim her space? And how can you use a blackberry to create space within yourself?

GIFT: 6 AWESOME PENDANTS FOR THE DOOR TO YOUR VERY OWN PERSONAL KINGDOM.
