Each piece in this collection comes directly from the hands of the artisans we work with - energetic, colorful and purposeful. Every luscious curve you discover is the handprint or signature of the master weaver who expertly crafted your basket by hand. We celebrate the unique differences in each and every piece of art.
Baba Tree baskets are handmade in Bolgatanga, Ghana, using traditional craftsmanship. A basket of this size takes an experienced weaver 4-5 days to complete. Baba Tree craftspeople are paid a fair wage and also receive a commission when one of their works is sold.
